We have been transferring information on agriculture and allied activities to farmers using m-kissan portal since KVK’s inception by ICAR. Every month we are sending messages to at least one lack farmer in the Medak district through this portal. In 2021 we reached about 1.5 lakh farmers through this portal in the composite. In 1st week of every calendar month, we have been sending messages to farmers of Medak district regarding agriculture, horticulture, farm mechanization, weather report, and other available new technologies in the market suitable for KVK operational area farmers. Along with agriculture and allied sectors information we send information about apps like Kheti Badi, Websites like PM-Kissan for farmers, and other information through this portal to help farmers in utilizing the above said apps and schemes.
